Kegtrade.com

Post by Squint » Sun Jan 03, 2016 10:56 pm

I was having a look around the Micro Brewer Pro advert at the bottom of JNK's page and while reading through the Forum pages came across an advert for kegs,

probably most know of this company, but for those that do not, here is a link that maybe of interest.
http://kegtrade.com/

and of course I have no links with this company

Interesting alternative to the Pegas bottle filler on there for 80 Euro. This one accepts glass bottles as standard with the provided fitting, unlike the Pegas which is PET only unless you make your own adapter washer. I also noticed they were selling kegs for home brew boilers at nearly twice the price of a regular keg. Easy enough to adapt one yourself if you have the tools. They are a bugger to drill though as I know to my cost of drill bits.

Not sure - but from what I saw, an S and A type looked quite physically different, even in the spear diameter.

The kegs themselves will be the same, just the spear fitting will be different. By the time you get new spears that will push the cost up a bit.

Beware: I had good and quick communication with them ... until the order was made and payment done ... now already more than 4 weeks with no communication, no product, nothing.
