What have people used this for and in what sort of quantities? Is it good in conjunction with other grains or are the properties lost?

I found myself with some of this, basically it can be used in place of crystal but it doesn't add colour (or at least as much colour). I believe it can add body and head retention, while added sweetness to balance high hop beers.

There's a good thread I found [url=ttp://jimsbeerkit.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3323]here[/url] with various descriptions, so check the description of crystal as well if you're unsure.

(Actually I found that very useful thread. No wanted to back seat mod but is there a reason it's not a sticky in the Malts and Grains forum?)
