Now being produced by Wadworths. Had a pint the other night. Just the one, mind, and was pleasantly mellow for the rest of the evening! Must be getting old.

This one is safely in the corni and bottles.
Although still quite murky I had a taste and :flip: this has a fantastic caramely and very familiar taste ( whether its Bishops Tipple or another heavy duty dont know ) but looking forward to trying again after conditioning and maturing.

CK - have you tasted your brew yet ?

Hi daab . It may get 4 weeks in the corni if I can eek out the Gales HSB but the keg felt worryingly light the other day so yes, as soon as its clear

Will be able to see how much the maturing adds to it as 6 bottles of this lined up for beer making demo/tasting night in July.

Primed with 1/2 tsp per bottle at 1016 for my records.

i got it down to about 1018 in 7 days then put it in to a corni for secondary as i was going away, i would have left it for 10 otherwise. i had a quick slurp and it tasted as you found, very caramely and heavy. should be a bit of a headbanger when its done but i imagine it will take a while to mature properly, hope ive got the will power :D

Hi Talisman

I only dropped the Black Malt as I didnt have any IIRC

I really enjoyed this one but it didnt age as well as I thought it would.

If not using Windsor may want to mash 1c higher if you are keeping for a while in bottles.
