Malt for Black Sheep copy

Post by BeerCheez » Wed Oct 22, 2008 10:54 pm

I am attempting a copy of one of my favourite draught beers 'Black Sheep' bitter and intend to use Maris Otter pale simply darkened and flavoured with with some Black Malt, any opinions? Also I am using Challenger for bittering and equal quantities of Progress and Fuggles for flavour and aroma. The yeast I am trying is W Yeast 1013 (a supposed Young's beer yeast).

Cheers, Beercheez
