48 hrs fermentation

Post by floydmeddler » Sun Feb 22, 2009 8:38 pm

I used an entire yeast cake to ferment my latest 30L brew. 48 hrs later and it has reached the target gravity: 1010. Is this a good thing? Tastes great.

Cheers

I think you answered your own question, more healthy yeast tends to mean a quicker fermentation.
