Temp for a 3hr approx Mash

About to brew a Sarah Hughes Dark Ruby,,, Mash will start at about 330pm but i wont get back from work till about 6, 630pm,,, do i need to up the temp a bit?

Depends on the heat losses from your mash tun.
The brewer at Sarah Hughes, says that he mashes at 70C in order to get a higher finishing gravity for some sweetness. Although he did say it dropped to about 65C by the end of the mash, since they use an ancient mash tun.

A 1 1/2 Mash normally loses 2/3 degrees wrapped in its fleece blanket

The honest answer is I don't know because I have never done it, but if it were me, I would start it at 69/70C and it would be around 65C after 3 hours which is pretty much the same as the breweries procedure.
