I got distacted 5 years ago with the birth of my daughters and now I got time to restart the brewing
I have the following

500g Chocolate malt (best before 31 jul 2006)
500G Crystal Malt (no best before date printed)
500g Torrefied Wheat ( best before 31 May 2006)
100g Fuggles ( best befor end jan 2008)
100g Northern brewer ( best before end jan 2008)
2 can of pale malt liquid extract (best before Dec 2007)

Can I still use this stuff or will I get a crap brew it was supposed to be a theakston's old peculiar from clone brews book

or is thier something better i can do with it other thatn just compost it and buy fresh when funds allow

You posted in the "grain brewing Q & A", so ignoring the extract, if the hops were frozen then I'd take a chance and if there are no grain weevils then what the hell.

thanks the hops were in the frezzer for ages but been out for about 2 months so when I get all the stuff ready will do it and see what happens thanks for heads up about the wevils I didnt even think about that but surely the boild would sort them out and they would at the very least add some extra protine to the brew
