Homebrew Centre Grimsby - Top Marks.

Post by 196osh » Mon Sep 28, 2009 1:10 pm

I orderd some hops from them the other week and there appears to have been some issue with delivery.

I called them up and after some discusion they agreed to re send the Hops.

I was very pleased with the service, can't comment on what the Hops will be like. But they were very nice to speak to. :)

I've been very impressed with their service too, they even sent me some sample hops to try out, quick efficient and friendly. No I don't work for them!

I've used them a number of times, usually for hops. Their hops are well priced and always fresh. There was a thread on here some time ago advising where the hops were sourced (IIRC it was from a local brewery)

Delivery is always quick, usually next day.

I'd back up all those comments, ordered some hops a week or 2 ago, they arrived in a 2 days and they sent me a free sample. Great service.

At the risk of adding to the echo, I have to add that their service has been excellent in person too.

I've no complaints either. Good prices and quick delivery. A good range of stuff too. If they just did MO malt, they'd be perfect.

Never tried them, their hop prices look OK though, and they stock some unusual varieties too. Barley Bottom's hop prices are just as competitive and very good quality. Hop & Grape will have to reduce their prices to the kind of levels these two are charging or they may lose my custom :?
