Considering the damage to the slopes that a couple of members have experienced just travelling through the UK post I am not surprised.

White labs are a liquid yeast, slopes are yeast cultured on Agar slopes. White labs do supply pre poured slopes for home inoculation, they're available from H&G.

That was what i asked. There is no direct reference to slopes. Are there the one called specialist yeast?
I'd hate to order the wrong thing.

I'm not sure what you mean, the title of your topic is slopes!

What exactly are you asking?

Brewlab produce slopes, yeast cultured on agar/wort er... slopes, Leyland Homebrew also sell them but that's it afaik.

White labs and Wyeast produce liquid yeast which is totally different. I think H&G is the only distributor of White labs yeast but Wyeast is widely available.

Slopes and liquid yeasts from the the manufactures mentioned are available to suit various types and styles of beer. Look on there respective web sites for a full description and how to use. A list of brewlab slopes can be found in the 'Yeast' section. When you find one you fancy have a look on H&G, Leyland, Hop Shop's etc sites to see if they stock it and find out if they will ship to you. Hope that helps
