I'm at that annoying stage where I've got not alot of anything but a bit of everything. One problem is no protofloc/moss for clearing. Therefore a stout to use up this and that so I can justify a new supplies order.
I have, then, come up with this to use whats there, a stout as I have no way of fining the brew:
BLACK UFFER 23Lt OG:1054 EBU 45 Colour:210
MO 4789
Crystal 550
Choc 80
TorrifWh 150
Black Malt 80
RoastBarley 300
Hops:
Magnum (17.7) 23g 90 mins
Golding (4) 20g 10 mins
Using MrWheelers Beer engine this seems ok, I have no experience of stouts so any advice, cautionary tales or general comments would be really welcome!
I have only safale 04 yeast, is this ok with a stout? I have Torri wheat and roast barley in, is this going to be a mash problem? When bottling would you still add the 1/2 tsp sugar to prime? Will the Magnum bittering hops adversely affect the flavour or will the late goldings and choc/malt cover any 'bubblegum' flavour which I have heard about?
Stout- 'Black Uffer' recipe comments please!

Recipe looks good... You shouldn't be getting any bubblegum flavours unless you're letting your fermentation temp get way too warm. Keep it around 18 - 21 C and you'll be fine. To all your other questions, everything should be fine, nothing to worry about. 1/2tsp for a lowish/moderate carbonation.
