Riggwelter

I fancy brewing a Rigwelter for Xmas I noticed that there is a recipe on the Forum has anyone tried this.

25 litre batch OG 1056 ABV5.9% 60 units of colour 39 EBU

MARIS OTTER PALE MALT 4553 gms
CRYSTAL MALT 365 gms
CHOCOLATE MALT 600 gms
TORRIFIED WHEAT 544 gms
ROAST BARLEY 1gm

HOPS Boil time 90 minutes.

FUGGLES 26 gms
PROGRESS 27 gms
CHALLENGER 27 gms
Add 10 gms GOLDINGS last fifteen minutes.

Yeast of your choice.

The only concern I have is that it states 1 gram of Roast barley is that correct as it would only be a couple of grans.

I've done this, but used a lot less choc and hops in mine (spose it depends on AA%).

I followed the GW recipe, and its turned out nice. cant remember what the original one is like, so a side-by-side comparison is called for.

the recipe you state is not a million miles away from mine, so should turn out ok
