5.2 stabilizer hmmm

hihihi

instruction`s say 1 tablespoon of 5.2 to 5 gallon,is that US gallon so 1 tablespoon will treat 19 l

so im in the UK and and 5 gallons is 23 l so should i put some more 5.2 in :o

im going to use the tesco ashbeck 5l bottled water with it to,will the water be ok adding the 5.2 and using it for brewing water

only using this 5.2 as a lazy way to treat water,as iv got no idea about treating brewing water,totaly baffal`s me

Does the Tesco water even need ph 52 ?
I thought ph 52 was best used in tap water (most effective with hard water) ?

You'd be a lot better off in the long run buying an alkalinity test kit and treating your own water. It's not hard.

hi m8 so all i need to do then is buy a test kit and it will tell me everything about my water,what do i treat water with ??? very very new to this sry :roll: but i got start somewere right!and it the base of beer being 90 or so % of it :D

so this is my first all grain and was wonding if i just use 20l of this bottled water and the rest 10l of de-clorineated tap and the 5.2 would this be ok,would i get a good beer result

its putting a big delay on my brewday cause im thinking more about the water :cry: :cry: :oops:
