ready to bottle?

Post by 400d » Fri Dec 04, 2009 9:29 pm

I made a pale ale a week ago. I hit 1.060 OG. After 3 days of vigorous fermentation, the 4th day everything calmed down, and today (7th day from pitching the yeast), gravity reading is 1.009....

I'm considering bottling in the morning though I didn't take three days in a row gravity reading.

the yeast used is s-04

I don't think it can go lower from 1.009 if it started at 1.060, but maybe I'm wrong....

any suggestions?

thanks

Yes.....take 2 more days of readings....I don't think that it will go much lower either, but beer bombs are bad things. Not that I have ever witnessed them before mind you :^o
