Mashed too high

Mashed too high

Bugger, went to use my digi thermom and found out its about 10C out !!!!!, so my brew today would of been around 77C mash, ,, I did hit the OG etc, will it be a bit sweet? any thoughts

That's a long way off. At that temperature the enzymes should have been denatured so I'm surprised you ended up with anything usable.

I doubt it was that far out for the mash or you would not have hit your targets. But if it was high then you'll end up with extra residual sweetness.

Oh no! I'm goin to check mine now.... Just noticed last week that my hydrometer is reading 8 points low.
