btw, the link to the Malt Miller in your sig does not work. (I'm not an obsessive link checker, honest. I just clicked on it to see if he has sorted his site problems yet).
Too many http's in there. The Malt Miller site is still down by the looks of it anyway

Something odd in this thread. I thought mysterio had double-posted but I definitely only replied once but it shows twice, once after each of his posts.

I think there was a post by me deleted and the clean up went a bit funny. I don't know why as I wasn't attempting to start anything with mysterio, rather was commenting on Shazzas assertion of time vs getting hammered and how you'd be better buying cheap crap than brewing anything if it's just about getting hammered.

you don't have to have a beard or a pick-up truck and a garage full of kit to brew all grain. I reckon on 5hrs start to finish max and time off inbetween which isn't that long and no fancy equipment at all

My dear chap,I get hammered on quality Coopers stouta(almost a la Ditch) and it only takes 40 minutes to knock up a 46Litre batch........Kegging into cornies does not take too long either! This affords me more time to ponder
the meaning of life.
Yours in mock indignation,shazza.

Ai but when the zombiepocalypse comes and yer precious internets are down and yer shops closed then we'll still be makin beer from porridge and flowers and be the first merchants to reestablish the world order and we'll be kings I tell ya, kings.......or something.

Nope, we'll be really annoyed that without the internet we can't find out the potential extract level of porridge or the AA% of daffodils...
