I've had my first AG in bottle just over 2 weeks and the first sample I had last week tasted great but lacked any carbonation.
I moved it back to a warmer room (20C) from my 'cellar' 12-15C to enable it to reach condition and carbonate correctly.
I checked on the bottles to see if any further sediment had appeared ( thinking it would be a indication that the priming sugars had been used by the yeasties)
On checking the bottom of the bottle for yeast sediment I noticed a little bit of yeast around the neck of the bottle on the line of the top of the beer.
I checked more bottles - all the ones I checked also have it!
The beer isnt quite clear, so maybe its nothing...
However I recall that a line around the top of a bottled conditioned beer can mean an infection....

Your comments suggestions please gentlemen....
NB: I followed my usual bottle cleaning and sanitation regime for this bottling batch.
I'm a bit precious of this, my forst AG batch...

Thanks in advance.
Guy
