Stuck at 1012?

Morning Gents. Brewed up last week with nothing special, Pale Ale to 23l with 4.5kg of Maris Otter, some Crystal and well hopped. OG of 1046 and into the FV with a Nottngham yeast. Measured gravity with a new (and checked) hydrometer and got readings of 1012 over the past 3 readings. Dont know if this is due to the warm weather we had last weekend but this seems a quick fermentation and I usually see a drop to about 1008 with most of my brews. With 3 consistent reading its looking like kegging time this afternoon.

Anyone else had this type of result lately, temperature variation isnt too bad as there is an aquarium heater in there (set at 19) and the temperature in the daytime even in the warm weather wasnt too bad as its been stored in a fairly cool pantry.

1012 sounds fine to me, might just mean you mashed a couple of degrees higher than usual, and even if it drops another 4 points in the keg after been disturbed during the syphon it's nt going to be a big issue.

My thoughts exactly. Mine usually finish 1009 to 1014. I would be content with that. You may even fine the flavour suits you and you will want to do is again

1.012 nothing to worry about

1012 from a starting point of 1046 aint bad = 73% atten

Perhaps if you usually get 1008 you could have mashed slightly higher or used more crystal. But i wouldnt be worried

I would be happy with 1012 - sounds fine to me.
