First time cooling then fining

I plan to try cooling and fining (auxiliary then isinglass) for the first time. The brew is about 4% and the yeast is Safale S04, having forgotten my Thames Valley II starter again (have found these both ferment in a similar way in my set up). Without cooling and priming I have found that if I leave in the FV for about 2 weeks (stable gravity) that it conditions very nicely after being transferred to cask/keg. Could I expect a beer that has been cooled and fined to behave in the same way or will I need to do something different eg. priming or start cooling before final gravity?

This is particulary important because it is going into a cask so there will not be any venting, last time I put priming sugar in a cask the keystone popped out and sprayed half of the brew over the ceiling and walls.
