24 marbles, 2 heavy glass tumblers and still 100g of dry hops won't sink.
How on earth do you guys get your dry hops to sink?

I've never had a problem, but have not used 100g before
no palate, no patience.
Drinking - of course

Give it a bit off time, once they are saturated they should sink easily, especially with half the kitchen attached!
Re: Losing my marbles
Ive tried dry hopping in the FV a few times and suffered "floaties"; had to use a house brick in the end:) My take
on it is I think the saturated CO2 (or air) get into the leaves as they expand. A whirl of the FV seemed to help.
Ive gone back to just throwing them in the barrel, its less hassle & i don't pick up the grassy taste.

i've used boiled spanners in the past, and a granite pestle... or is it the mortar..? the thumpy bit anyway. you just have to make sure you really sterilise something like that.

Hi
I use food grade stainless steel ball bearings.
If I have alot of hops, 30g to 50g batches.
