Stupid Question?

Post by DC » Tue Oct 30, 2012 6:47 pm

Hi all, I am looking at brewing a McEwans Export clone recipe and it calls for 227g oat or rice hulls after looking on the Hop & Grape website I can only see oat husks. Now for the Stupid :?: are oat hulls & oat husks the same thing :?: Please feel free to take the Michael but I thought I would just double check

Cheers DC

yeah they're the same thing. i think they're used so interchangably it's not always easy to find obvious reference to them together. either way, there's two parts of the oat - the husk/hull and the (gr)oat.
dazzled, doused in gin..
