Liquid Calcium Chloride

Post by fisherman » Thu Feb 21, 2013 4:21 pm

Hello,
Has anyone used the new liquid calcium chloride for additions to the mashtun or boiler?. I use Calcium Chloride flakes and so far so good, I keep them in an airtight container with three plastic bags in layers to keep the flakes dry. Has anyone got the dosing calculations for using the liquid calcium chloride, How would you use it being wet, When added to the mashtun would you put it in the grains or mash water and what ratio. I have seen it for sale online at the Homebrew shop. With my new boiler doing 50 litre batches every 7 days nearly all my bottles are full so no brewing until May. Happy Days.
Happy Brewing
