First brew

Just enquiring what is the best water to use tap or bottled been looking at bottled water but most of them contain chloride just like tap water?

Hi

Depends on what your tap water is like , and what you are brewing.

Mine was so high in carbonates, and it varied depending on how much was coming from bore holes. so I used asda smart price, and then got an ro filter.

I suspect though as it is your first brew, then use tap water, there are more things to worry about in the early days, than your water.
