Good shout Dr D - I may well order one of those babies!

I had one of these some years ago. Problem I found was that its so cold it can easily turn your beer into icy slush.

Yes, they're not a perfect solution, but a lot better than nothing when it's sweltering hot. You get the knack after a while of drinking the beer as it gets cold enough and then topping them up. I force myself to drink the beer anyway, in the interests of research. :wink:
