Vin Clear for beer?

I forgot to put protofloc in my last brew..... is it safe to use Vin Clear finings or should I stick to beer finings (I've never used them before).
The bottle says it contains water, isinglass, citric acid and preservatives.

At any point after the kettle, finings are going to strip some flavour out. I prefer not to use them. It doesn't really matter if you forget the protofloc; it's not a necessity.
