Three beers three yeasts

Post by youaintseenmeright » Fri Sep 27, 2013 8:40 pm

Hi all

Just received 3 all grain kits from WHS that all came with s04 Sarah Hughes DRM fullers ESB and top dog stout

I have a washed yeast cake WLP 007 that is from an original pitch from new with a starter then pitched into an IPA from a top crop and now sitting in the fridge from a washed cake I also have some s05 available

Do you think that any of the afore mentioned kits would benefit substituting the s04 for my other available yeasts ?

The S05 may be too clean for an English ale. The WLP007 should be ok.

S04 makes a good stout so I'd stick with it for that.
