Hi using BrewMate V1.26, had to perform complete recovery of my computer to correct an issue, able to open saved recipes from earlier Backup Recipes & Settings, anybody know how can I restore settings, editor-Styles-Fermentables-Yeasts-Miscellaneous from the same earlier back up.
Cheers

Re: BrewMate Help
Thanks, you have just prompted me to back mine up for the first time! I don't have the answer though sorry.
Backing up recipes and settings downloads a zip file to your hard drive. I don't have winzip but if I right click the file and then click Open, it opens an IE window containing all the codes for the settings. I'm guessing you have done similar. There appears to be no guidance on the Brewmate website regarding this process, so I suspect it requires contacting them, via the Contact link at the top of the Brewmate.net website.
Unless someone else on here can guide us through it. Or maybe try aussiehomebrewer.com/ as it's an Australian invention, I believe. I will have a go when I get time if you/someone else doesn't sort it first.
Edit: If I hover the mouse pointer over the zip file it shows me the files it contains, and they correspond with files that exist elsewhere in the Brewmate folder. So I'm guessing you just drag them out of the zip folder and into the main folder, and select yes when it asks if you want to replace the existing file. The recipes can all go into the separate recipe folder. There is a file called BMSettings.xml and one called BMData.xml - TI think you will need to replace the existing files with these names with the corresponding files from the zip folder.
Perhaps....?
Must do some work.
