priming sugar
I have some Belgian candy sugar, wondering if this would be good for priming an 8% porter, or mixing with brewing sugar?

Re: priming sugar
That would be expensive compared to brewing sugar, but it would work.beer today wrote:I have some Belgian candy sugar, wondering if this would be good for priming an 8% porter, or mixing with brewing sugar?
I'm just here for the beer.

I picked some up cheap, so have no problem adding it, just wondered on the taste impact and whether I would need to mix it.

In an 8% porter it would be hard to tell what was used for priming.
I'm just here for the beer.

Re: priming sugar
The small amount that you would be using to prime the beer would have not noticeable impact on the taste of the beer.beer today wrote:I picked some up cheap, so have no problem adding it, just wondered on the taste impact and whether I would need to mix it.
