Tuckers malting

As I live in the West Country and travel past Tuckers Malting at least every 2 months has anyone used them for grain as they have a good shop on site =D>

Used Tuckers maris otter malt for years, never had a problem with it yet.

Do they sell on-line? What are their prices for MO?

EDIT: Just checked them out, quite expensive for low volume. Not too bad for 25kg bags @ £30, though Crisps are quite a bit cheaper.
Best wishes

I live in Cornwall and did the maltings tour last year and keep meaning to go back because if you buy 4 bags apparently they sell at the price they sell to the home brew shops which is considerably cheaper.

Their beer shop is one of the best I've visited and not bad on price.

I can virtually see Tucker's from our bedroom window so do of course use them for malt. Never had any issues with it, it's not the cheapest, but for me it's obviously very convenient...they don'd mind selling small (1kg+) amounts either.

Ashamed to say I've never been on their tour but intend to rectify that this year...never miss their beer festival though!

I use Tuckers all the time for my Maris Otter, crystal and wheat malt. Not the cheapest, but to my mind, it is an artisanal product, being floor malted and makes damn tasty beer. I live in Newton Abbot, so I'm really pleased to be able to support them.

I usually buy a 25kg bag of MO when a) I need one and b) I'm nearby. I get good efficiency from the MO.
I also come away from the beer shop with a few bottles to drink too.
Being in Devon, I'm happy to support Tuckers, and really must get around to doing the tour!

Off to their beer festival tomorrow, taken the day off work!
£6 return on the train from Exmouth, nice and direct now that the Dawlish section has been fixed!
