I,m not sure where to post this so feel free to move it if I,m in the wrong spot. I live in Greece and frequently buy items on the internet. Either because I cant get things here or they are expensive. I,m not talking brewing stuff, just general household items. Electrical stuff can be really good on postage sometime if you dont want it fast it can be free. I,ve just ordered a cast iron skillet, you know the big heavy frying pan? The postage was just over £7 which for the weight of such an item I thought was pretty good.
So a question for home brew shop owners and online sellers too. Why is it whenever I want anything to do with home brew its either , we don,t post to Greece or the prices are somewhat ridiculous. Example 4 rubber bungs for mini kegs 50 pence each, postage £8.50 WHAT?

Re: Supplies
There's someone else that lives out your way maybe enquire with him. As for postage 8.50 that's cheap it's around 6 -7 quid to get anything shipped in the uk so 8.50 to Greece is cheap to me. It actually cost me more to ship something to Eire of the same weight as 4 bungs
Re: Supplies
Yes that's paul on Corfu I think. I've met a Greek guy who is setting up a micro brewery here 70 per cent German beers and 30 per cent British ales. He says he can help me with some stuff. Micro brewery's were a big no no out here till recently. Amstel and Heineken wanted to keep a monopoly on the beer. There used to be a daft law were if you didn't brew something like 10000 litres a month you couldn't get a licence. This guy I've met has just purchased a braumiester set up. The 500 litre one. God knows how much he paid for it.
