petri dishes ?

Post by johnluc » Fri Jan 30, 2015 12:18 pm

Hi all, am just getting all my gear together to start on yeast slants, everythings on its way so will be able to start soon, what i'm not clear on is do i need petri dishes to start off or do i innoculate slants from say a known decent source of yeast?
if i should get petri dishes what are best, glass or disposable plastic ones. any tips or links would be very much apprieciated.

Not a problem. That site has a vast amount of good information, but it is very difficult to search for unless you are familiar with it.
