Hi guys
I'm considering a Columbus smash recipe.
6250kg Maris Otter mash for 90min
30g Columbus @ 60 min
20g Columbus @ 15 min
50g Columbus @ 5 min
Any advice on using Columbus hops? I've only made Cascade smashes in the past.
Finally, Any recipes that you're willing to share with me?

Re: Columbus Smash
I once did a very pale, strong, single hop Columbus and it was fantastic. Could dig the recipe out.

Re: Columbus Smash
Is it worth ditching the bittering addition and increasing the later additions to make up the IBUs whilst increasing the flavour/aroma? That's my plan for a Summit single hop brew coming up

Ready to go: Malt extract, grain, yeast and a freezer full of hops.
Fermenting: Nowt.
Conditioning: Nelson's Revenge.
Drinking: Stop Wining, Firsty Gold, DarkMun, Yankee, Porter, ApAht, Cider, Mead, Tripel, Elderflower beer, Gluten Free, beer, wine, port, gin, beer, wine, port, gin...
