, "a couple of bottles once or twice a month", to "going to the shed and pouring myself a quick pint" saves you £750 - £1000 a year. So lets call it 50 bottles (hehe) at 40p a pint thats £20. means the bottled beer cost you £770 miminmum thats £770 divided into 50 thats £15.40 a bottle
, mate you should have gone to T*sco you can get 10 for that price.
Or you told them fibs and it is one or two bottles a night
admittedly 500 beers a year, down the pub, would set you back £1200.
