Cornelius Kegs, worth getting some?

I am about to sell my 3 cornie set up if anyone is interested. (I will post in the for sale section soon).

Cornies are fantastic and a real pleasure to use, but I am in a financial pickle just now so we are selling anything that moves.

I am still making beer, just bottling into "free" PET bottles.

My setup is

Three Cornie kegs with all disconnects ( a set on each keg and a couple of new O ring kits kits)
One chrome dispensing tap that mounts into a hole drilled into the cornie handle (2cornies are drilled one is not)
Two waist high gas bottles (one is full and can be refilled/swapped by my supplier, the other is now empty but I have never tried to get it refilled)

Two regulators, one is the type that screws onto the bottle with a coloured guage to indicate avaliable bottle pressure.
The other is a "fine" adjustment in line regulator with a guage that lets you set the pressure to the cornie.
This one is actually a compressed air regulator but does the job perfectly.

I was thinking £180 for the lot, plus shipping, (I am in shropshire if you want to collect,)

Sorry to hear of your pickle - I've just bought a complete setup from Norm (last week!) but I'm in Shropshire myself so I would have been interested, nevermind, hope you get sorted.

Cheers Flything, its not a bad pickle "yet", its just that the missus insist on food and shoes for the kids as a minimum
I have only just emptied the last cornie so I need to sell them before I am tempted to refill them all again. (they make such a sad sound when they are empty.)

I have a mate who runs a pub and he swaps my gas bottle when I need it, do you have a gas supply yet?

I really need 4 things.

1 an excuse to buy these things

2 a supplier that will ship to Norway for a decent price ( they cost 120 quid here used with no fittings

3 a hiding place for them

4 a hiding place for me when SWMBO find out!

The only problem is you can't fit them in the fridge.
However, fine in winter as when your beer is ready just stick it outside the back door on a chilly night for nice cold beer.

Was thinkning about adding this to my shopping list but they seem to be getting expensive.
Norm seems to be asking £40 + £10 postage recently, has somebody been buying all the stock (Parva!)
Seriously that seem rather a lot to me, US fleabay you can get 4 for £50 shame about the £100 shipping, but still cheaper if you did want 4!

Hey, it's not me, I haven't bought any from Norm in about 12 months now! The 10 full size and 2 baby ones I have are taking over the kitchen somewhat and it's proving hard to keep them all filled so I've stopped for the forseeable future. I have noticed the prices are steadily rising though, when I got mine from Norm initially I think they were £30 - £35 delivered.

I'm not sure whether the prices are rising, I got 2 kegs the week before last for £60 including postage! Must have got lucky.....!

Perhaps its just a different type and they cost him a bit more. I'll keep an eye out and hopefully he'll get some lower cost ones

The two I had delivered this week off Norm were £93 the pair with shipping.

If they have gone up in price, it's still just as cheap and more effective than using King Kegs!
