Well, brew day is over and it went really well.

I did have a slight boil over (my first!) but nothing too messy! I ended up with about 31 pints. With a gravity of 1.060 this gives me an efficiency of 66% which is a whole 1% more than anticipated.

All in all it has been a great day :D

Just racked this brew to my keg. Gravity dropped to 1.006 which was considerably lower than I was anticipating. Gives me a 7.09% beer rather than the 5.91% I was anticipating.

Still got a very green taste to it which will hopefully mellow out over the coming weeks. Hopefully this will be a great tasting beer ready in time for my birthday BBQ.

Great thing is that I am away for around three weeks meaning that this one will have time to mature AND will have enough left for people to drink :D
