Don't forget to insulate under the MT too - I found that there was a huge difference in losses when I put a doubled over camping roll under my BIAB pot.
Ingredients: Water, Barley, Hops, Yeast, Seaweed, Blood, Sweat, The swim bladder of a sturgeon, My enemies tears, Scenes of mild peril, An otter's handbag and Riboflavin.

I did that jocky. I'm a builder and had some leftover celotex slab in the garage so I sat it on that.

+ 1 for boil off and DEFIANTLY hop absorption. I just repeated a recipe with pellets that I had previously done with leaf and end up with 3 litres more in the fermenter.

Stick at it it gets easier every time.
