which was a web site of a beer nut who had already done what I was trying to do. From that I found Strangebrew and I must same I loved it.
It is so easy to use. It converts from metric too imperial, US gallons to imperial gallons and you can resize your brew very easily. I also like that you can go into the database an add extra ingrediants with little fuss.
Give it a try on a 30 day free trial. It freeware shareware so even if you dont want to pay you can still use a lot of it after 30 days
