Oooh.....

Pale 90-95%, plus a bit of Crystal and Wheat to 1048

then Challenger for bittering and Cascade & Amarillo for flavour/aroma? 40-45 IBU ?

(I know, I'm so predictable, but I did at least throw the Challenger in)

Sorry for the slow reply, Rick....probably a bit late for you now.

I've made a few along these lines, and my sort of "standard" formula is 4-5Kg Pale Malt (depending on the strength you want), plus 150g of Crystal and 150g of Wheat malt. Maybe swap out some of the Pale Malt for Lager Malt if you want a lighter colour.

Then about 20 IBU as first wort hops from the highest AA hop - I like some of the Aussie/NZ ones, but pretty much anything will do, then load up on the late hops - get another 20 -25 IBU from a 15 minute addition - maybe Cascade or Amarillo or a mix, then the same amount again at flame out or at 80C to steep. Then dry hop in the keg with another 25g.

It's not uncommon for me to use well over 100g of hops on these well hopped Summer brews..... I love 'em! Particularly with Cascade and/or Amarillo!

I love cascade too; along with Styrian Bobek, the smell drives me mad..

3,796Kg M/O
253g Torrified Wheat
211g Crystal Malt

90 Mins
Fuggle 28g
Golding 13g

15 Mins
Fuggle 11g
Golding 11g

Flame out
Styrian Bobeks 30g
