I have a bag of gelatine granuals which are out of date. Would they have an adverse affect on my brew if I used them in my cornie?

It might, is it worth the risk for a few pence?

Problem is, I cannot seemed to find gelatine in granual form locally. I used sheets last time which turned out to be a disaster.

Do any of the supermarkets sell granuals or any nationwide stockists that I could visit today?

I bought my Dr. Oetker gelatine granules from Morrisons.

I went to both Sainsburys and Asda this morning and can only find the sheets. Same as the Morrisons around here too :?

IMO sheets are a higher quality than granules (used in cooking) but do require a different technique. What was the problem last time you used them.
