Is pale ale malt the same as pale malt?

Looking at some recipes in GW book british beer, some recipes list pale ale malt while other list pale malt.
Is there a difference between the two? What do I need to purchase if pale ale malt is listed?

Cheers
Phil

No, I would imagine it is a typo. The only difference (apart from barley types) you can get with pale malt is that you can get malt which has a lower colour.
