HOP AND GRAPE MASH TUN

Hi ,
I am thinking of buying a ready made mash tun has anyone any advice on the above item, My other idea was to buy a 36 litre coleman extreme coolbox and fit a tap myself, I would like your opinions. Considering I will be mashing out in the garage.
Cheers

I use the H&G mash tun and it works fine as delivered. The insulation is much better quality than the really cheap cool boxes and the grain manifold works well. I opted to cut some more slots in the manifold to get a faster run off but even without this modification there were no problems. Its capacity is fine for 5 gallon batches but larger batches can be a bit of a squeeze, especially for higher gravity beers.

All in all it is a decent quality ready made mash tun that works well and will save you scouring plumbers merchants for suitable bits to build your own.
