For my first AG. I thought i would try the following, goal is for as lager-like a beer as possible. I'm using the beer engine and was hoping for a 10L batch(which is small i know). What do you think?

Yeast = Nottingham. Ferment temp as low as possible, hopefully sub 20C.

Fermentable Colour lb: oz Grams Ratio
Lager Malt 2.5 EBC 2000 grams 78.4%
Munich Malt 20 EBC 320 grams 12.5%
Wheat Malt 3.5 EBC 230 grams 9%

Hop Variety Type Alpha Time lb: oz grams Ratio
Challenger Whole 7.6 % 60 mins 15 grams 33.3%
Saaz Whole 3.3 % 5 mins 30 grams 66.7%

Final Volume: 10 Litres
Original Gravity: 1.057
Final Gravity: 1.013
Alcohol Content: 5.8% ABV
Total Liquor: 16.6 Litres
Mash Liquor: 6.4 Litres
Mash Efficiency: 75 %
Bitterness: 28.9629727986136 EBU
Colour: 9 EBC

Your reason for this is lack of temperature control?
Otherwise other yeast would most likely be more appropriate.

I have been reading that it can handle both lager and ale temps and has a neutral finish, also i have no temp control, fermenter will be sitting in a spare room which is usually pretty cool, from 17-22C.

I don't think you will be far off the mark with that. I too have no temperature control and have done similar. Prime it for big carbonation and serve it really cold. It will certainly be lager like :D

Ive brewed a fair few blonde and golden ales of late, your malts sound fine, challenger gives a good base flavour. The other thing you might try is adding some challenger and saaz with 30m to go to round out the hop flavour. These beers don't want to be too floral so late hopping with saaz or styrians works well, but I'm finding a mid point of the boil addition works well in getting a good flavour profile
