yeast a newbie question

hi all just picked up a copy of brewing beers like those you buy by dave line.(a quide from the boot sale ) anyway my question is the recipes mainly call for 60gm of brewers yeast /brewing yeast . will a 12 gm packet of say safale 04 still be enough thanks in advance

I believe it will depend on the size of you batch but if you are doing a 5 gallon batch 12g would be fine

As a beginner that is what I use
