When my primary fermentation has stopped and I want to move the beer to my secondary can I allow the beer to drop into the 2nd FV from about 3ft like I do when move from my boil kettle to my 1st FV to aerate it or should I use a long pipe like I have with my previous batches.
Will doing this awaken the yeast again??
When moving to 2nd FV can I??

Use a longer tube and avoid splashing. You do NOT want aeration at this stage.

Minimum disturbance so as little air as possible gets comes into contact with the beer.

If I had all the money I'd spent on brewing... I'd spend it on brewing!
