Lucky dip ingredients brew ideas

Post by ManxMan » Wed Sep 01, 2010 8:45 pm

I have left:

3 kg MO
1kg Belgian pale
500g biscuit malt
500g crystal

50g Northern brewer
50g progress
50g Cascade

Safale SO4

Can anyone rearrange these ingredients into a well known saying or phrase?

Thankyou in advance.

Looks like a recipe as it is :) Off the top of my head, How about...

23L brew length.
3 kg MO
1kg Belgian pale
150g biscuit malt
200g crystal

60 mins with:
20g Northern brewer
40g progress

15 mins with:
10g Northern brewer
10g progress
20g Cascade

0 Mins Steep with (or an 80c Steep for 30mins):
20g Northern brewer
30g Cascade

just shorten the brew length if you want it a bit higher ABV.
Personally I'd leave out the biscuit and the progress, or just bitter with the progress.

lol

yeah what he said! I'd miss out the biscuit and the progress and substitute more NB!

You should get a decent brew from what you have!
