buying malt and grinding

Only ever bought crushed grain before or crushed it meself down in Cheam.

Wanted to know if there were previous threads with pictures of the ideal 'crush'. The last time I crushed in shop I found that the target gravity was missed fairly significantly. The only thing different from previous brews was the fact I crushed rather than someone else and the sources (shop) was different. I guessed the rollers were set different therefore, crushed the grain differently.

Now I have me own mill I want to make sure my grain crush is right.

Anyone recommend the cheapest/reasonable uncrushed grain supplier (that is of sufficient quality)
