Dam i just remembered forgot to add the sugar to the boil, so i boiled it for ten minutes and added it to the FV 24 hours after, hope this is OK
has anyone else done this if not what are your thoughts.

As long as you allowed it to cool it's fine.
It could even be an advantage to let the yeast munch away on the more complex malt sugars 1st before spoiling them with simple sugar!

thank god for that i wondered why the OG was so low then i remembered i forgot the sugar and added it,then thought is this going to be OK (Panic over)

the OG was supposed to be 1.035 but was 1.032 i then added 295 grams of sugar to 27 liters of wort, is there anyway of estimating what it would have been.

Beer engine tells me that amount of sugar to 27L will add 4 gravity points, that would leave you with an OG of 1.036.
That's pretty close for me :)

thanks spud thats great because this brew is for my father in law and it wasn't to be head banging gear but it also had to be enough alcohol to to be worth drinking
(by order of swmbo) so that goes down as a good result
