Hey,
Finished AG #1 a few weeks back, an Oatmeal Stout...I've been debating, for about a week, what to make next.
Then, I was watching episodes of BrewingTV, and they mentioned "Cascadian Dark Ale", essentially a hopped up dark ale (uses something like 200g of hops, madness!). Ignoring all the ridiculousness around what it should be named, it sounded delicious, so I started my latest order with that recipe in mind.
But of course I can't brew 2 Darks in a row, especially with summer around the corner. So, I found a recipe in "Radical Brews" for a Summer Ale, that looks delicious, and includes Coriander and Candied Ginger, which are both delicious on their own! So, I'm going to make that AG#2, just in time for summer.
Finally, because my CFC failed during the AG#1 (resulting in me having to fashion an IC out of it), I want to remake the Oatmeal Stout, sans a 3-hr boil, for flavour comparison, and to use up the remaining ingredients...
Now, I just wish I had more bottles...
I've discovered I really enjoy planning brews, and its a good way to ensure that I continue to brew, can't let those ingredients just sit around!
Anywho, happy brewing!
Planning upcoming brews, might be a bit addicted to brewing

My misses says that I used to talk about nothing but beer, now I talk about nothing but brewing beer
no palate, no patience.
