guiness extra
Hi, just started brewing the above, got it in kit form from worcs hop shop, thought I'd tweak it a bit. I had just over a kilo of pale malt left in a bag needed using, so added that. then thought that would detract from the colour so added 100g choc malt. then added 13g northern brewer to balance the added body. what do you think should I have left well alone? only time will tell, expecting an og of 1057, so should be heavy stuff.
no palate, no patience.

Re: guiness extra
oh ye may laugh and ye may titter
but it aint mild and it aint bitter
the scots may call it a pint of heavy
the chancellor would surely introduce a levy
the recipe has been slightly missed
bit when its ready we'll all get p***ed
