Just returned from Holland, tried many brews( including lots a Belgians , which is not my cup o' tea, sorry)but did like amstel gold, so who's got a recipe, come on.

Blimey give 'em a chance
It has been described as having bitterness of 29 EBU and colour of 12 EBC......so there is a couple of bits of your jigsaw puzzle perhaps.

Amstel gold is just a stronger version of Amstel, so if you brew up a lager with a shedload of cornflakes, table sugar, dog hair and bellybutton fluff, you'll be somewhere near.

I quite liked Amstel Gold when I had it a few years back.

FWIW I used to like Amstel. Nowadays though compared to the finer ales its a wee bit unrefined for me
