Any comments on green bullet as a late hop (10 min or less) in a pale ale that has progress and green bullet as kettle hops.
Ive brewed this before with bobek as the late hop but its not quite what Im looking for.Ive got a few goldings and more progress as well as 10gms challenger.

I like Green Bullet, I think its a super bittering hop with a great flavour. I was doing a bit of hop research last night and was looking at it in some detail, I think the Humulene and myrcene profile will compliment goldings fantastically to give a superbe rounded flavour and aroma, Mixed with goldings it will be something else.

Cheers barney I take it you wouldnt go with the green bullet as a late hop.
Im more than happy to go with golding but just wondered if the green bullet may be a bit harsh.

Yes I would go late, three or four times the Goldings to the Green Bullet, should give a perfect rounded result, it should be like goldings on steroids. What are you looking for exactly?

Like I said I used bobek last time I brewed this and I want something that is a little more, for want of a better word, bitter.
Ive got two brews bottled that were finished with bobek so Id like something a bit different.
Havnt got an awful lot of goldings Ive got this and one more brew before I restock with hops and grains.Id earmarked most of the goldings for the other brew but if you really think I should Im happy to blow them on this and rethink the brew after next.
